Our School and Students
Graham Hill Elementary is a Title 1 K-5 public elementary school located in the heart of Southeast Seattle. Our school stands as a vibrant microcosm of our neighborhood, reflecting our community’s determination to honor such values as tolerance and cross-cultural understanding. Many Graham Hill students are from economically challenged families. Almost 70% of our student families are at or below the poverty level and many are food and/or housing insecure.
Many Graham Hill students are considered at risk for poor academic achievement. At the same time, we are an energized community of educators and families committed to our students’ success with active plans for academic and social/emotional development and a supportive parent teacher body.
